this weekend was great. we got to listen to general conference and feel some comfort to things i've been pondering lately. also my sister kensie was home for the weekend. we did what we love most; go to D.I. and make delicious food. she always teaches me how to cook something healthy and scrumptious. things weekend we made Kale Chips. i was skeptical but actually loved them and look forward to making them again because they are easy! she also convinced me to buy black olive bread which was yummy too for our panini lunch. at D.I. i found the cutest goblet and basil mug so after thrifting we headed to the home depot to hunt for the perfect little succulents. when we came home to plant them we figured out it was a little more difficult then we anticipated with the goblet since the opening was so small. after we created a mess we fit the three plants in (!) which made my heart happy that my crazy idea worked out. and i loved they way the terrarium turned out. and the fresh basil herb made a nice touch to our panini too. let just hope that i can keep the plants alive :) and thank goodness for D.I. for those cute books, and the planters/mug/goblet
p.s. here is the recipe for KALE CHIPS-
toss with a small amount of olive oil and seasoning of your choice. we went with lemon pepper. spread them out on a baking sheet, then pop them in the oven for 15 minutes at 350 and they are done. they healthy are a great healthy alternate to potato chips.
succulents are my favorite! i love your milk glass one! ahh! so cute!
