SF Day 2 | Color Factory, Alamo Square, & Golden Gate Bridge

Day Two (Tartine Manufactory, Mission District, The Color Factory, Ikea sandwiches, Alamo square Park, Golden Gate Bridge.)

We started off the day with breakfast at Tartine Manufactory. It is my favorite brunch place in SF! Their pain au gruyere (ham & cheese croissante) is out of this world! After breakfast we walked around mission district killing time before our reservation at The Color Factory.

The Color Factory was amazing! It was so much fun and of course every inch of that place is photogenic. My favorite rooms were the confetti room and the ball pit!

After the color factory we got take out from Ike's sandwiches (delicious! and SO many sandwich options!) We went to Alamo square Park for a little picnic lunch. It was so nice to relax for a bit and eat lunch under a shady tree admiring the Painted ladies houses from the park.

On our way out of the city we stopped by the Golden Gate Bridge. We parked at battery east park and walked along the path to get a closer view. Such a cool & iconic bridge!

Then we got stuck in gridlock traffic for nearly 3 hours (!!!) heading into Oakland. It was nuts! Grant had had enough and screamed for a little while. I don't blame the poor kid. Once we got back to my sisters place we were so tired from our long fun day we ate at home at went to bed early! Oh yeah and we went to the delicious Smitten Ice Cream in Oakland too. We got blood orange and chocolate almond! Both SO SO yummy!
