SF Day 3 | Muir Woods, Cypress Tree Tunnel, & Point Reyes

Day Three  (Muir Woods, Cypress Tree Tunnel, Point Reyes Lighthouse.)

Day three we ate berakfast at home and packed a lunch to bring with us to the Muir Woods. We also packed snacks to bring to the lighthouse. We also dressed warmer with layers, which I am glad we did since it was a little chilly in the forest. The Muir Woods was so beautiful!

SF Day 2 | Color Factory, Alamo Square, & Golden Gate Bridge

Day Two (Tartine Manufactory, Mission District, The Color Factory, Ikea sandwiches, Alamo square Park, Golden Gate Bridge.)

We started off the day with breakfast at Tartine Manufactory. It is my favorite brunch place in SF! Their pain au gruyere (ham & cheese croissante) is out of this world! After breakfast we walked around mission district killing time before our reservation at The Color Factory.

San Fransisco 2018

A few weeks ago I went to San Fransisco last week to visit my sister & her husband. I brought Grant along and left Scar at home with Derek. It was so fun to be reunited with my sister and explore the city, eating at yummy places and of course take too many photos...

Capitol Reef National Park

Took a quick trip to Capitol Reef National Park with the kids and my mom. I was hired to go down and shoot some engagements

Wild Poppy Field

Last week we drove up to Mantua to see the Wild Poppy Field and it did not disappoint! I followed Scar around as she ate fruit snacks, collected rocks and looked for bugs. 

Sink Bath on a rainy Spring day

Sink baths are both one of our favorite things around here. I always strip Scarlett down to her diaper and buckle her in her high chair at meal time. She loves to feed herself and (try) to use silverware. It's pretty cute but also leaves the biggest mess.

Lilac Blooms

We went for a walk the other day and found this huge lilac wall. I couldn't help but come back with the tripod to document the bump and Scar of course. 

Tulip Fest 2017

 We had such a fun time at the tulip festival the other day. The place was pretty much empty and it was so nice. We went last year on a Saturday on opening weekend and it was so crowed.

Tiny Scar + Colorful Wall

There other day while in Salt Lake area, we made a quick stop to see the Cents of Style Wall!  This is the coolest wall in Utah. Loved seeing Scarlett get out of the car and say "WOW" when she say it.

Picnic at the orchard

We drove up to Perry today to see the fruit orchards in bloom. The warm Spring weather had us dying to get out of the house. We packed a picnic lunch and grabbed a blanket and headed out the door. 

Spring Skiing with Scarlett

We took Scarlett skiing for the fist time yesterday and it was so fun! It was such a nice spring day. We got her all loaded up in her skis and she just stared at her feet.

San Francisco 2017

I just got back from a trip to San Francisco to visit my sister. She moved out there last year and I was super excited to go visit and see her new city. We ate way too much food and walked lots!

A spring day at the nursery

We went on a hunt for some new spring plants at the nursery the other day. We went to our favorite one, J & J Nursery in Layton. I always love going there but especially in the winter and spring.

A typical day at home

Since I have become a Mom my personal style as gone through a gradual transformation. I tend to wear clothes that are more comfortable, and simple. Especially now that Scarlett is a toddler and loves to feed her self and makes a mess every meal! There are definitely days where I stay in my pajamas all day long and that's okay! Although it is so comfy, I find myself feeling less productive and less confident one those days I don't get out of my pajamas. I have also noticed that when I throw on a pair of jeans, a basic tee and a hat I feel not only more put together and confident but also end up having a more productive day. I love that a classic hat can take my casual outfit up a notch, or add some flair to a more dressy look. Gigi Pip hats are perfect for doing just that! They seriously have some many cute hats to choose from weather you're bundling up on a cold day, lounging around the house, or headed to a yummy restaurant on a hot date :)

I wanted to share a few of my favorites from when we got our family photos taken by Kandice Breinholt. We went up to my favorite look outs of Mount Ogden on Old Snow Basin Road. I love the golden grass, the light pouring through and my family all together in photos together! I will cherish these photos forever ♡
